The Strip’s Face Is Modified by a New Mega-Resort Casino
Las Vegas is the world’s most successful travel and holiday place to visit and is always brimming with huge, high-profile possibilities. This week, on the other hand, was the best in a long time.
Resorts World Las Vegas is a brand-new project with over 3,500 rooms. This makes it one of the best in the city that is renowned for boasting the world’s largest hotel collection. In contradiction, the city’s newest hotel additions have been restorations, such as the newly launched Virgin Hotels Las Vegas off the strip and the Monte Carlo that has been transformed into the Park MGM under the original owners (MGM Resorts).
The most recent major construction was last fall’s Circa, which had “only” 777 rooms and was also positioned off the city’s famous Strip in historic Downtown Vegas.
Genting Berhad, a Malaysian gaming company with casino enterprises that span the globe and over 50 years of experience in destination resorts, developed Resorts World Las Vegas. The company operates New York’s lone casino, Resorts World New York, in the USA.
While most greater casinos in Las Vegas have loyalty programs, this one is linked to the extensive worldwide Hilton Honors network, which has over 82 million users globally.
Resorts World, the newest member to town, is aggressively investing in its groundbreaking, next-gen gaming floor, which is the first of its kind in Sin City, along with cashless gambling at both table games and slots.
A complex program integrates mobile gaming, a frequent player club, and the liberty to buy food, entertainment, and hotel goods in a touchless, digital manner. It will also use “Smart Tables,” which will employ RFID embedded chips in every dollar denomination to allow for 100% precise tracking of players’ gaming activity and customer loyalty recognition. The massive sportsbook offers mobile wagering across Nevada, and the casino floor has a 30-table poker area, 117 table games, and over 1,400 slot machines, and high-limit areas across 117,000 square feet.
As progression is the key to success in Sin City, and new features, swaps, and enlargement are the norm, neither of Las Vegas’ mega-resorts is ever truly “finished,” but that’s a lot for a start and immediately places Resorts World among the most high-profile vacation options in one of the world’s most popular vacation destinations.
